Virginia Lifespan Respite Voucher Program

Virginia Lifespan Respite Voucher Program provides reimbursement vouchers to Virginia caregivers for temporary, short-term respite care provided to individuals of any age with a documented severe disability or medical condition.

Eligibility

  • Care recipient must have a qualifying disability
  • Relationship: spouse, parent, child, sibling, grandparent, other relative

How to apply

  • Send the completed 5-page application and verification of disability or medical condition for the respite care recipient by email to [email protected], by mail to DARS at 5620 Cox Road, Glen Allen, VA 23060, or by fax to (804) 662-9354
