Rhode Island RIte@Home (LTSS Shared Living)

Rhode Island's RIte@Home program pays family caregivers a daily stipend through Medicaid Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS) under the Comprehensive Demonstration waiver to provide shared living support for adults with disabilities and older adults who cannot live alone. The caregiver must live with the care recipient. Spouses and legally liable persons may NOT serve as paid caregivers. Administered by the RI Executive Office of Health and Human Services.

  • Asset limit of $4,000
  • U.S. citizenship or qualified immigrant status required
  • Care recipient must have a qualifying disability
  • Care recipient age: at least 18
  • Must live with care recipient
