Nevada Care Connection, ADSD, and 211 Resource Navigation¶
Nevada caregivers can use the Aging and Disability Services Division, Nevada Care Connection Resource Centers, Resource Navigators, Medicare Assistance Program, and Nevada 211 to find aging, disability, caregiver, long-term support, care-options, respite, veteran, Medicare, housing, food, health care, mental health, transportation, senior, disability, and local human-service referrals.
Nevada's Aging and Disability Services Division says it ensures individuals, regardless of age or ability, have access to resources they need to thrive and connects older adults, individuals with disabilities, care partners, support networks, and families with essential programs and resources. Nevada Care Connection Resource Centers streamline access to services and provide one-on-one assistance to older adults, people with disabilities, caregivers, and families through resource and service navigation, caregiver support, and veteran services. Nevada Care Connection lets people request help so a Resource Navigator can provide one-on-one assistance, explore care options, connect to provider resources, and get Medicare Assistance Program counseling. Nevada 211 is a Department of Human Services program that connects Nevadans to state and local health and human services programs by phone, text, chat, and internet, including housing, food, health care, mental health, seniors, people with disabilities, and Aging and Disability Resource Centers.
