Family Paid Caregiver Pilot Program

The Family Paid Caregiver Pilot Program allows North Dakota spouses, parents, and guardians of Medicaid waiver beneficiaries to be paid as in-home caregivers at $162.73 per day, maximum 5 days per week.

Eligibility

• Care recipient must have a qualifying disability
• Must live with care recipient
• Relationship: spouse, parent

How to apply

• Apply and submit the application through the Family Paid Caregiver Portal (familycaregiver.hhs.nd.gov); sign in with a North Dakota Login account, add the individual receiving care, then add and submit the application; after review, the applicant completes a self-assessment to identify extraordinary needs.
