Consumer Directed Services

Consumer Directed Services allows Missouri Medicaid recipients to direct their own home and community-based care services and hire their own providers.

Eligibility

• Care recipient must have a qualifying disability
• Applicant age: at least 18
• Relationship: spouse, parent, other relative

How to apply

• The participant is the attendant's employer of record (selects, hires, trains, and supervises the attendant); CDS is authorized following a comprehensive face-to-face assessment with the Division of Senior and Disability Services (DSDS)
