Michigan Aging Caregiver Services

Michigan caregiver services help family and informal caregivers care for their person for as long as possible. Services are available through Michigan's aging network and local Area Agencies on Aging, with a statewide Mi Caregiver Connection resource site for local support.

Michigan caregiver services may include adult day care, counseling, respite care, support groups, and training. MDHHS directs caregivers to contact their local Area Agency on Aging to learn about caregiver, community, in-home, and nutrition services and to see if they qualify. Mi Caregiver Connection connects caregivers to Michigan's 16 Area Agencies on Aging, local support, resource libraries, support groups, and education or workshop options.
