Relatives as providers

Relatives as providers allows Maine to pay qualified relatives for in-home and community support services and personal care assistance services for adults with disabilities.

How to apply

• An evaluation team, including the applicant/consumer and at least one registered nurse or registered occupational therapist, determines eligibility for services under the program and the applicant/consumer's capability to hire and direct a personal care assistant.
