Live-In Caregiver Supports¶
Live-In Caregiver Supports provides Medicaid reimbursement for rent and food costs of live-in personal caregivers in home and community-based settings for eligible participants.
Eligibility¶
- Care recipient must have a qualifying disability
- Must live with care recipient
- Relationship: spouse, parent, other relative
How to apply¶
- The participant (or legal guardian/authorized representative), caregiver, and provider develop a signed service agreement, which must be forwarded to the Coordinator of Community Services for submission to the DDA as part of the service request authorization. Contact your Coordinator of Community Services (CCS) to get more information about eligibility and to help decide if this service is right for you.
