Kinship Care Subsidy Program (KCSP)

The Louisiana Department of Health's Kinship Care Subsidy Program (KCSP) provides cash assistance of $450 per month for each eligible child who resides with a qualified relative other than a parent.

Eligibility

  • Household income at or below 150% of the Federal Poverty Level
  • Care recipient age: under 18
  • Relationship: grandparent, sibling, other relative

How to apply
