National Family Caregiver Support Program

The National Family Caregiver Support Program provides in-home and community care support services to informal caregivers including adult family members aged 18 and older caring for individuals 60 years and older, and older relatives aged 55 and older caring for children or adults with disabilities.

Eligibility

• Applicant age: at least 18
• Must live with care recipient
• Relationship: parent, child, grandparent, other relative, non relative

How to apply

• The AAA will refer applicants to provider organizations or other resources; place them on a waiting list for services; or initiate service delivery as determined by the screening and assessment process. To find the nearest AAA for your area, call 1-866-552-4464, and press 2.
