Delaware Supports and Services for Caregivers

Delaware's Division of Services for Aging and Adults with Physical Disabilities offers supports and services for caregivers, including Caregiver Resource Centers, the Delaware Aging and Disability Resource Center, Lifespan Respite vouchers, support groups, and related services that can supplement family caregiving.

Delaware caregiver supports include the Delaware ADRC as a first call for understanding services, exploring care options, and connecting with local programs and support groups; Caregiver Resource Centers for in-person guidance, referrals, and support groups; and Lifespan Respite vouchers for eligible caregivers. DSAAPD says voucher applicants may include caregivers of a child or adult with disabilities, an older adult, or a relative's child when the caregiver is age 55 or older.
