Connecticut Veterans Directed Care Program

Connecticut Veterans Directed Care Program allows eligible Connecticut veterans to receive home and community-based services and to direct and employ their own personal care assistants, including family members.

How to apply

• All clients must first be referred by and then pre-screened by the Veteran's Medical Center (VAMC), which refers appropriate veterans to the Area Agency on Aging (AAA) for further assessment and service coordination. Veterans not yet connected must first register with the Veterans CT Healthcare System.
