Parents as Paid Caregivers

Program allowing parents to be paid Direct Care Workers providing Attendant Care or Habilitation services for their minor children with disabilities

Eligibility

• Care recipient must have a qualifying disability
• Applicant age: at least 18
• Must live with care recipient
• Relationship: parent

How to apply

• Contact a Qualified Vendor, who can help a parent become a Direct Care Worker (DCW) if their child needs Attendant Care or Habilitation-Hourly services
