Utah Self-Directed Supports / Aging Waiver¶
Utah offers self-directed options under its Aging Waiver and New Choices Waiver for Medicaid-eligible individuals who require nursing facility level of care. Participants can hire and manage their own personal attendants, including family members and spouses. Utah also has a state-funded Caregiver Support Program providing respite and support services.
