New Mexico ADRC, ALTSD, and 211 Resource Navigation

New Mexico caregivers can use the Aging and Long-Term Services Department Aging and Disability Resource Center, caregiver-resource pages, live chat, ADRC phone line, and United Way 211 to find aging, disability, caregiver, respite, dementia, long-term care planning, Medicare, Medicaid, legal, senior, disability, meals, adult day, transportation, health, shelter, rent, and community-service referrals.

New Mexico's Aging and Long-Term Services Department helps New Mexicans achieve lifelong independence and healthy aging and lists the Aging and Disability Resource Center as a direct contact at 800-432-2080 and [email protected]. ALTSD offers live chat during business hours and identifies ADRC as a featured resource for Medicaid waiver assistance. ALTSD's caregiver resources direct family caregivers to the New Mexico ADRC for respite help and say ADRC options counselors can provide information and planning assistance for future needs for caregivers and loved ones. ALTSD also provides dementia caregiving resources, support-group links, caregiver training, and respite-resource guidance. United Way 211 in New Mexico provides free referrals to health and human services, government agencies, and community-based organizations, with county coverage links and resource categories including basic needs, physical and mental health, senior and disability services, Meals on Wheels, adult day and respite care, transportation, children and family support, abuse and neglect resources, and disaster services.
